D. Áurea is a tribute to Grandmother Áurea, the connection to the family with Portuguese roots. 100% Bastardo from the Dão sub-region – Serra da Estrela – at an altitude of 600 meters and on granite soils. Bastardo grapes ferment in a press with 30% whole bunch and macerate for 15 days. They pass the old barrel and age for 1 year. Delicate aromas with a fruity character and some balsamic and spicy notes. Firm but textured tannins, a high sensation of freshness and great complexity. It has enormous potential for aging in the bottle.
